WHERE CLINT STANDS

ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER

  • The Biden Border Disaster has been done intentionally by radicals who want to destabilize our country. This open border is the modern-day version of democratic slavery. Just like the slavery of old, we have sex trafficking, human trafficking, and forced adult and child labor. We must go back to Trump-era policies to lock down the border and deport illegal immigrants while engaging our military to fight the Mexican cartels.

The cartels are now a proxy for China to enact an invisible war against our nation by killing 100,000 Americans a year with Chinese-supplied fentanyl materials. I know from my time in military intelligence and covert operations, that we have the capability to secure our border and take on the cartels, we just need people in place with the fortitude to do so.

  • The first responsibility of the government is to protect our rights and protect our nation. We face more threats than at any time in our history, and we need experienced leaders in Congress to help meet these challenges from a hostile Communist Chinese regime, radical Islamic terrorists, drug cartels, and power-hungry dictators like Putin.

As a former member of an Army Ranger six-man covert ops team, an Apache helicopter pilot, and former two-star general equivalent in the Trump-established United States Space Force, I’m prepared to deliver the critical leadership we need to meet and defeat these challenges for a free and strong American future. I’ve fought the cartels in Mexico, Central and South America. I’ve fought the terrorists across the globe, and I’ve fought China’s advance towards space and cyber superiority over the United States.

  • For far too long, we have seen what an entrenched bureaucracy will do to protect itself, attack our rights and liberties, and promote radical agendas that harm our country. It’s time Congress uses the power of the purse and provides specific direction to cut agency and department policies, personnel, and programs that are not focused on strengthening and protecting our country and every American citizen. If we intend to solve this problem, first Congress has to hold the executive branch departments and agencies to account.

Additionally, Congress needs to write legislation that begins the departure of the headquarters of all of the executive branch departments and agencies from Washington, D.C., and relocation out into the rest of America. As long as the headquarters of these departments are staffed by people who live in the D.C. bubble, we will never see Executive Branch organizations that reflect the values and principles of America.

  • We all know what a good economy, increasing wages, and strong growth do to help our families, small businesses, and our future. Cutting taxes and regulations and getting the federal government off our backs and out of our pockets will do more to expand growth and opportunity for all Americans than any big-government, socially engineered program.

We also need a wholesale review of every regulation that is masquerading as a law. Everyone focuses on executive orders, but the larger problem is the thousands of regulations that are enforced like they are laws. These regulations overburden our industry and stifle good-paying jobs for America.

  • When America is energy dominant, it will not only lower costs and reduce inflation, but more American energy production will also help us project soft power worldwide to stabilize energy markets and support our allies. We deserve policies that greatly expand the production of God-given American oil and natural gas while investing in next-generation micro-nuclear power plants that can be sited closer to where power is needed and deliver clean, emission-free electricity.

Given the increasing threats China poses to our power grid, we must make changes to harden the grid from cyber and physical attacks. Our goal must be to have abundant, affordable, and reliable energy that serves as a driver of economic and manufacturing growth for our nation.

  • I believe life begins at conception and is a gift from God that must be protected. The Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs case was a remarkable victory for unborn children and for preserving the sanctity of Life in our country. I will always work for policies to protect our future generations while also proposing solutions to help strengthen and empower the growth of more American families.

  • Too many in Congress and the Judiciary have forgotten that our fundamental and inalienable rights come from God, not the government. Every right enumerated in our amazing Constitution must be preserved and protected.

  • Our Founders were very insistent to note the 2nd Amendment “shall not be infringed” and I will always uphold that principle. As I just viewed the official Israeli video about the Hamas attacks, I couldn’t help but wonder where the “good guy” with a gun was to stop the terrorists.

The Biden Administration has allowed terrorists into our country since the fall of Afghanistan and facilitated them coming across the southern border – the murderous Hama attack in Israel highlighted the brilliance of our Founding Fathers to ensure an armed populace could have a fighting chance to protect itself and made me appreciate our Constitution even more.
